Overthinking? Barely functioning? Emotionally fried? Just want the energy to do what you love again?
You don’t need a new routine or another sketchbook. You need a creative reset crafted for yoU, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE a spicy, sensitive, scattered, OR spoonie soul.
art that soothes, not stresses
It's Mandala Month in the Peaceful Painting Club!
It's Mandala Month in the Peaceful Painting Club!
If your brain feels like mush and your creativity keeps ghosting you…
YoU just found your magical creative home.
It’s time to release the shame of ghosting your sketchbook.
The guilt of wanting to rest instead of “produce.” The grief of forgetting who you were before the pain, the pressure, the fog.
This isn’t another art class you’ll start with high hopes and never finish. This is a softer way in - a method of making expressive, restorative, deeply imperfect art.
Built by a sensitive, spicy, overthinking spoonie… For sensitive, spicy, overthinking spoonies (and anyone who’s ever felt like too much and not enough at the same time).
No more wild starts and burnout spirals. No more pressure to “be consistent.” Just a safer, shame-free rhythm, and a community full of creative Inner Peace Imperfectionists to come back to.
For fast-moving magical minds,
art isn’t just a hobby…
it’s how we keep our sh*t together.

The Inner Peace Imperfectionist Mission
Here it’s all about art that soothes, not stresses.
For anxious minds, tired bodies, spicy brains, and sensitive souls who want to feel safe making something real.
We teach gentle yet fun, messy, and healing expressive art practices mixed with a touch of sass and humor that work on bad days, sad days, foggy days, and flare days so you can stop waiting to feel “ready” and start feeling real.
Are You a Magical Mind?
Our classes are open to all, but Magical Minds are at the heart of everything we do at The Inner Peace Art Studio.
Our founder Katie calls her mind magical, because there's always a lot going on up there. It’s what makes her creative, curious, and deeply compassionate. She sees that in you, too. It’s also what makes self-care and creative consistency… tricky.
Sound familiar?
You might be a Magical Mind if:
— You’re a deep-feeler, daydreamer, sensitive soul, or spicy-brained human
— You’ve ghosted your art more than once (and blamed yourself for it)
— Or maybe you never even started
— You don’t want pressure. You want peace.
Here, you’ll find gentle guidance, creative healing, and full permission to be exactly who you are, no masks, no measuring up.

let’s create!
Hey there!
a Neurospicy, fatigue-ridden, former high-achiever turned soft artsy rebel…
Meet Katie
Hi, I’m Katie - an artist, expressive arts facilitator, coach, creator, professor, and art-therapist-in-training with a nervous system that’s been through it. I help sensitive, spicy, scattered, and spoonie humans (aka my kindred spirits and what I call “magical minds”) make messy, soul-soothing art… without pressure, shame, or burnout energy.
This studio isn’t about aesthetic perfection. It’s not about a picture-perfect art studio or the most magnificent masterpieces.
It’s for the real Magical Minds, the ones who feel deeply, start-stop often, and still long to make something real.
It’s about finding your way home through art, even if you’ve ghosted your sketchbook 524568 times.

You Might Be an Inner Peace Imperfectionist If…..
Low energy? Spicy brain? Haven’t touched your art supplies in 2 or 20 years?!
If so - you’re gonna fit in here ;)
We ghost our sketchbooks, start again, rest often, and make something messy anyway.
No shame. No streaks. No pressure. We are the Inner Peace Imperfectionists and we are commited to:
✅ Making something, anything that feels like exhaling
✅ Using our art to feel connected to ourselves and others, even when life is absolutely chaotic
✅ Rebuilding our creative trust, over and over again, embracing the wild wonderful journey (without needing a “perfect” Instagram-worthy routine, a morning ritual, or more “discipline”).

Kind Words
"Progress, Not Perfection."
The thing I love most about Katie's teaching style is that she focuses on process and progress over perfection, reminding us to adapt techniques so they feel good to us. I joined the Peaceful Painting Club because I love the creative communities Katie builds. My favorite class is the Wake Up and Watercolor—it’s such a fun way to start the day, and I always feel positive afterward. Katie's consistent reminders that perfection doesn't exist have made me more courageous in my artistic experimentation, and it's really opened up my creativity. - Julie R.
