Past Retreats
In October 2024, we co-hosted a sold-out Women’s Creativity Retreat on the Big Island of Hawaii with Tanya Shaffer of Off-Leash Writing, where retreat attendees explored nature-inspired art, writing, and mindfulness in one of the most serene settings on earth. It was lifechanging for all, to say the least!

It was an opportunity—to get away from the day-to-day concerns, to go to Hawaii, to meet new people, to learn new things, to try new activities—all in a welcoming, exploratory atmosphere. And I benefited. Just doing something totally different in a totally different place for one week refreshed and rejuvenated my spirit. I’ll take that.

I had a fantastic time, both by myself, and with the other women on retreat with me. The jungle environment was incredible, and the activities were well thought out and beautifully curated. I really appreciated that we could do everything á la carte, and not feel pressured to participate in every single activity every day.
I experienced being able to read my writing out loud without even a hint of fear, for the first time in my life. Feeling the unwavering support, understanding, and camaraderie of a group of women, a majority of whom were previously complete strangers, was a phenomenal feeling indeed.
