Step Into Your Art & Save Your Soul is a program inspired by Julia Cameron’s Walking in This World program.

While Katie has facilitated The Artist’s Way cohorts for the last three years - this is not a repeat of The Artist’s Way.

It’s what comes after you unblock:

When you’re ready to expand, express, and walk your creativity back into the world, maybe even a little loudly, especially in the uncertain, chaotic times we’re living in.

Step Into Your Art is unlike anything you’ve ever done before:

  • We pair creative recovery with actual steps: literal walks, mindful motion, and body-based awareness to move stuck energy and release emotion.

  • With the support of a gentle guide and creative mentor, you’ll learn to live in the here and now, learning to notice the glimmers, metaphors, and tiny magic that surrounds you, especially on your weekly nature walks.

  • No pressure, no perfection. Just expressive mark-making, writing, and sketchbook prompts that help you feel seen again.

  • You’re not doing this alone. You’ll walk beside others who are also tender, spicy, tired, and still making it.

guided journaling

Self-paced weekly journaling + reflection workshops to help you slow down, listen inward, and process what’s bubbling up. You’ll learn to trust your words again, on the page, in your body, and in your life.

creative movement

Weekly Walk & Talk workshops that blend movement, writing, and gentle mark-making to shift stuck energy and let something beautiful come through. This is where nervous system care meets creative liberation.
