FAQs
Who is Inner Peace Art Studio for?
Inner Peace Art Studio is for sensitive, neurodivergent, and creative souls who want to make art without pressure or perfectionism. Whether you’re burnout-prone, anxious, or simply craving a gentler way to create, our trauma-aware approach meets you where you are. Learn more about our company and our Founder Katie Goodling here.
Do I need to be “good” at art to join?
Not at all. Our classes and programs focus on process, not perfection. You’ll learn to make expressive, healing art for relaxation and self-discovery—not for gallery walls.
What makes your approach different from other art classes?
We focus on gentle, trauma-aware teaching designed for sensitive, neurodivergent, and burnout-prone creatives. Classes are low-pressure, accessible for all energy levels, and designed to feel supportive—not competitive.
I keep starting and stopping creative habits. Can this help?
Yes! Our programs, like the Creative Bloom Blueprint and Peaceful Painting Club, are designed specifically for people who’ve “ghosted” their art. We use small, doable practices to help you rebuild creative confidence—without hustle or guilt.
What if I don’t have much energy or time for art?
You don’t need hours or perfect focus. Our methods include 5-minute creative prompts, low-energy art rituals, shorter classes, and tiny acts of art—ideal for spoonies, ADHD brains, and anyone living with fluctuating energy.
What supplies do I need to get started?
Most of our classes use simple, beginner-friendly materials like watercolor, pens, and basic paper. We’ll guide you through affordable, accessible options so you don’t need a huge art supply haul. View our favorites on our Amazon Shop.
What’s the difference between your programs?
Our programs follow the Inner Peace Imperfectionist Method – a gentle, 5-phase creative growth cycle.
Creative Bloom Blueprint (Seed): Start fresh, unblock creative wounds, and rebuild trust in your art habit.
Creative Bloom Society (Root): Stay consistent with soft structure, seasonal inspiration, and community support.
Peaceful Painting Club (Nourish): Relax and explore intuitive watercolor and painting for pure joy and healing.
Step Into Your Art (Grow): Blend movement, journaling, and art to expand your creative life beyond the page.
Creative Coaching & Private Classes (Bloom): Personalized support to deepen your creative journey or share it with others.
Your growth isn’t linear - you can join wherever you are, and most students enjoy more than one program as their creative confidence grows. Start Here.
Are your programs live or self-paced?
Most are live virtual classes with on-demand replays posted within 24 hours and include real-time facilitator and community support so you can move through everything when it feels right for your energy and schedule. Retreats and other events, a la carte classes, and other offerings are announced seasonally.
Do you offer corporate or group workshops?
Yes! Our Corporate Wellness Workshops bring gentle, creative stress relief to teams. We can customize sessions to support mental health, connection, and burnout recovery.3

Can art really create personal change?
Absolutely. Gentle, expressive art helps you build self-trust, process emotions, and reclaim joy in creating. Many of our students describe it as a soft rebellion against perfectionism and hustle culture.
