Reintroducing Inner Peace Art Studio

Reintroducing Inner Peace Art Studio

When I first started Inner Peace Art Studio, it was just me, a watercolor set, The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, and a desperate need to feel human again after I hit rock bottom.

After years of working in marketing and leading creative teams, my body suddenly said, “no more.”

Autoimmune illness turned my world upside down — and all the ways I used to cope stopped working.

I wasn’t looking for a new hobby. I was looking for peace.

What I found instead was something bigger: a way to rest, process, and reconnect through art.

It began with paint and paper, but over time it became something much deeper — a daily rhythm of creating, breathing, and allowing myself to just be. Quite honestly, my sketchbook became my sanity.

The Pivot: From “Pretty Art” to Healing Art

If you’ve followed Inner Peace Art Studio for a while, you’ve probably noticed things look and feel different. That’s because this space is no longer just about painting — it’s about healing through creativity.

Over the past few years, I’ve trained in expressive arts, mindful art, and arts in health, combining research-backed methods with lived experience.

The result is a studio designed for women living with chronic, autoimmune, or life-altering illness — and anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed, fatigued, or disconnected from themselves.

This new chapter isn’t about fixing ourselves or being something we’re not. It’s about finding gentleness in the middle of it all — the flare-ups, the fatigue, the uncertainty — and remembering that creativity can help us hold it.

Why It’s Personal

Inner Peace Art Studio isn’t built from theory — it’s built from experience.

I’m still navigating chronic illness. Still learning. Still healing. Still showing up with you — one brushstroke, one breath at a time.

Currently, I’m diagnosed with Celiac, IBS, H Pylori, MTHFR, Iron Anemia, Folate Anemia, mild PCOS, Dysbosis, SIBO, and Leaky Gut. I also have anxiety, depression, ptsd, and adhd. Art is seriously my way through every single day. As uncertain as each day is, art is my anchor.

My hope is that when you land here, you exhale, and find a healing art practice. I never thought I’d be painting, yet, here I am - I want that for you, too!

Here, it’s my goal that you feel seen, supported, and reminded that you don’t need perfect health or perfect art to heal.

You just need a safe space to create. Welcome to the new Inner Peace Art Studio.
