A different kind of gouache workshop
Repetition over perfection. Process over product.
Designed for your capacity
Options for low energy, sensory sensitivity, and “I can’t finish today” days—without falling behind.
Looks bold, feels calming
Simple sections + layered patterns create a graphic, modern spread that looks intentional—made through ease.
No drawing skills needed
We use dots, stripes, squiggles, arches, checkerboards—easy marks that build confidence fast.
Nervous-system supportive
Repetition + limited choices reduces decision fatigue and invites a gentle relaxation response.
Here’s what we’ll make
A two-page pattern spread that’s playful, bold, and surprisingly easy
We start with a calming “brush + breath” practice to shift out of doing-mode and into creative presence.
Divide your pages into simple sections and paint flat base colors (3–5 colors recommended—flexible!).
Once dry, layer easy repeating patterns—dots, stripes, squiggles, arches—until your spread feels complete.
Pattern ideas we’ll use
- Dots (steady + soothing)
- Stripes (graphic + simple)
- Squiggles (playful + forgiving)
- Checkerboards (instant “wow”)
- Arches (rhythmic + calming)
- One-pattern option (low-energy friendly)
Perfect if you want…
A creative reset that’s structured but not strict, easy but not boring, and calming without being dull.

FAQ
You’re not alone in these questions
I don’t have much energy—will this be too much?
Not at all. You can do half a page, use fewer colors, repeat one pattern, take breaks, or simply watch. The workshop is designed to be capacity-friendly.
I’m not artistic. Is this still for me?
Yes. We’re using simple, repeatable marks—not drawing skills. The structure is clear and supportive, and “messy lines still count.”
What if I can’t finish in the time?
Unfinished is completely okay. You’ll leave with a process you can return to anytime. Finishing is not the measure of success here.
Is $9.97 worth it?
This is a low-cost way to experience guided creative wellness with structure, nervous-system support, and a finished piece you’ll actually want to keep. It’s intentionally priced to be accessible.
